The northern part of Spanish province Alicante is located on the Mediterranean coast. On that coast also lies Benissa. It is a town with narrow streets, Mediterranean houses from the 17th and 18th century, small authentic churches and the Town Hall. Benissa has historical significance and fortunately, it is protected from damage and aging. In the 80’s and 90’s, Benissa has been restored. Today, this city is protected by its government.

Baeza is a city in Andalusia (a region in southern Spain). This city, like many other medieval cities, was situated on the mountain Lora de Baeza due to strategic reasons. Baeza has been included in World Heritage Sites in 2003 and it is protected by UNESCO. Besides tremendous historical value, Baeza also has breathtaking surroundings-it is located in the middle of the largest olive plantation in Europe!

Overview
The city of Zaragoza – known in English as Saragossa is the capital of the province Zaragoza and also of the Aragon autonomous community in Spain. This is located on Ebro River and its tributaries. The valley contains different landscapes – thick forest, desert, mountains and meadows.

Overview
The capital of the autonomous community Valencia in Spain is the city of Valencia and it is the most populous city. Its population exceeds 800,000. Santiago de Compostela was founded in the early 400s by Suebi after the collapse of the Roman Empire; however it was not really established until 584 with the rest of Galicia, Spain. Santiago de Compostela is the home of the famous cathedral which was named in the honor of St. James, the apostle who legends say rode on a stone boat to Santiago de Compostela, The cathedral was built to mark his pilgrimage.
